RELENTLESS TO RESILIENT

Glamptreat is not a retreat.

Glamptreat. Not retreat.

Glamptreat Is Not a Retreat.

It’s a movement for mothers who want to be fully present—for their children, for themselves, and for each other.

One day, I paused long enough to really look into my daughter’s face—and felt shock.

How did seven years go by that fast?

“They grow up so fast” sounds like a cliché until it smacks you right in the noggin. Until you realize how many moments were spent half-present: answering an email, managing a client emergency, switching roles, carrying the mental load, and promising yourself that next week will be different.

I had promised my daughter I would slow down. More than once.

Then life lined things up in a way I could not ignore: a forced pause, an idea for a weekend away with just the two of us, and suddenly—hello—she was seven.

That weekend became Glamptreat.

My mind has always put unexpected things together: glamping, luxury, retreats, nature, connection, creativity, and a little bit of magic. But Glamptreat became much more than a beautiful place to stay.

It became a way for mothers and children to step out of the noise and into the moments that matter.

No rushing from activity to activity. No hunting for restaurant reservations. No meal planning, dishes, grocery lists, or figuring out who is driving where. No pressure to “make the most of it” every second.

Just arrive, settle in, and be together.

Chef-prepared meals. Private or dedicated rooms and baths for each mom.  Thoughtful activities. Space to join in or take a breath and sit one out. Without apologies needed or judgment.

For daughters and children, it is a chance to build tools they can carry with them: meditation, breathing, positive self-talk, creativity, exploration, confidence, and connection.

For mothers, it is a chance to reconnect with the child in front of them—not the schedule, not the screen, not the endless list of things waiting at home.

And it is also a chance to reconnect with themselves.

A circle, not just a getaway

Motherhood can be beautiful, relentless, and isolating—all at once.

Many of us lose friendships during separation, career changes, moves, grief, or simply the nonstop pace of raising children. Then we realize we do not have time—or energy—to build new community.

Glamptreat exists for that too.

It is a circle of women who show up for their children, for one another, and for themselves. A place to grow your mom-support circle over family-style meals, a three-course dinner one night, tapas brunch the next, laughter around the fire, and conversations that feel real.

Because while the men have their twelve-hour golf days, cycling races, Formula 1 trips, football weekends, and fantasy leagues—we deserve something meaningful too.

Something that lets us make memories with our children while still feeling like ourselves.

Who Glamptreat is for

Glamptreat is for:

  • Mothers and daughters of every age.

  • Moms and families who want a meaningful, fully hosted weekend together.

  • Bonus moms, aunts, grandmothers, godmothers, and the women who help hold a family together.

  • Moms who want a solo women’s weekend and a little room to breathe.

  • Women who want connection, comfort, and community without sacrificing privacy or quality.

Because connection does not belong to one kind of mother.

Presence is not limited to one kind of child.

Growth is not reserved for one kind of woman.

What Glamptreat is—and isn’t

Glamptreat is not childcare. We do not take care of the kids while you disappear for the weekend—you may be on the wrong website if that is what you are looking for.

This is a shared experience. A chance to slow down and be mindful around the two of you.

Although, every mom deserves Mommy-Me-Time too. That is why we also create select women-only experiences, including our Halloween Mommy-Me-Time in Lake Travis.

Glamptreat is also not a traditional retreat where you share a public bathroom, sleep in close quarters with strangers, or spend the weekend roughing it because someone told you discomfort builds character.

You already carry enough.

When children are involved, comfort matters. A bedroom and bathroom assigned to you and yours — every home's layout shared with you in advance, so you know exactly what to expect before you arrive

Closing statement

If you are relentless by nature—or because life has given you no other choice—you deserve time and space that feels like a real treat.

A place where your voice matters.

A place where your space is private.

A place where connection feels meaningful, authentic, and easy.

A place where you can pour into your child while filling your own heart, too.

This is not a retreat.

This is Glamptreat: a movement of women and children growing together—uninterrupted, grounded, present, and held.

From one mom to another, and daughter of another,
